About Leura

Good Day Guys,
Only if you really think about Blue Mountains Tours?! We have more detailed information about wine tours to Hunter Valley - https://uluru-tour.com/is-it-better-to-visit-rainbow-mountain-in-the-morning-or-the-afternoon/

There’s just a magic in this World Heritage National Park that sticks with you long after you’ve left. Could be the gum trees filling the air with that signature blue haze, or the cliffs glowing gold at sunset while the cockatoos call out across the valley. Whatever the reason, every time I head west from Sydney Harbour, I see again why it’s earned its World Heritage status.

I’ve spent years guiding groups across this area — from the iconic Three Sisters at Echo Point to the Megalong Valley and the limestone caves of Jenolan — and believe me, the you can’t do the Blue Mountains justice in just a day. They’re a natural escape from the city, a natural cathedral of towering cliffs, cascading falls and eucalyptus aroma.

Just 90 minutes from Circular Quay via the Great Western Highway, the Blue Mountains National Park is part of the World Heritage-listed Greater Blue Mountains Area, a massive wilderness reserve covering more than a million hectares that reaches deep into Wollemi. It’s a patchwork of steep gorges, rainforests and eucalypt forests inhabited by over 400 kinds of Aussie wildlife, including lyrebirds, wallabies and the occasional shy dingo.
