Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle different flooring. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty traversing the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.
The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.
Like best automatic vacuum 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of innovative features including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.
This robot combo is easy to setup and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically filled or empty. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good with a pair of spinning mop pads that lift and scrub the floor, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station if they are required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can go from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a wide space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video supervision. You'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always reach every last bit of dust. It's essential to clean your home frequently, every week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing mopping and using a lower-cost plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 still has some of the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. best automatic vacuum has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It has a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home, which really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
